Do not go here if you do not want to be profiled immediately as you walk in the door! My friends and I were in town for St. Patrick's Day from Milwaukee and after spending the day at the parade yesterday, we wanted to find a dive bar, so we ended up at Toad and each had one drink. One... More

A grumpy, underfed group of teenagers and adults, we traipsed all the way through Somerville knocking off one option after the other for being too small or too big, too crowded or too empty, too smart or too basic, until we hit Mass Ave and I said enough! "Brian said on Sundays Christopher's is a solid bet, so unless they... More

We are never disappointed at Christopher's. The food is consistently great and so is the service. It is great for families and special nights.

This appears to the the goto place for locals, popular and busy even midweek. I sat at the bar for a beer and a light bite. The food was better than I expected and the staff friendly and experienced. No issue, just a good place for a meal.

Christopher's has really good food and generous portions. If you're in the mood for a burger, you're in the right place. And the fried pickles are good, too. Give it a try.

It's been a couple of years since I was here. I went on 1/25/17 and it was good. They had a dish I tried, just because it sounded a little weird -- pulled pork on top of mac & cheese. I won't order it again. The French onion soup was good. The person I was with enjoyed their cheeseburger.

We are a European couple (British and German) who ate at Christopher's one evening during the Boston leg of our New England road trip. The beer selection was commendable and the pub decor is average to good. All the food tasted incredibly salty - chicken wings, mussels, tater tots. I notice an earlier reviewer drew attention to this also. It... More

Very tasty food. We had a veggie and a beef hamburger and Christopher's veggie grain bowl topped with salmon. The burgers were delicious, with unique toppings and fillings. The grain bowl was likewise delicious and very substantial. Christopher's is very popular, so there was a comparatively brief wait to be seated. But the ambiance was pretty noisy, which is why... Visited around 6pm on a warm June Wednesday. The outside patio was already full but I was immediately seated inside. Was served by Sarah T. She was pleasant, helpful, and very knowledgable about the many brews available. I ordered the Toad bur-gah which was perfectly cooked. I loved the crunch of of the onion rings and pickles and the special... More

I stopped into a place called Christopher's, after reading their menu from the window. The place looked like it should have been more expensive than it was. It was absolutely empty at 3:00 p.m. The bartender told me to sit wherever I wanted. It took a while for the server to show up, but she was pleasant enough, except for... More
