Came for tacos (asking for extra guacamole & paying for it got me a tiny icecream-scoop of it, no more). Tacos were ok but nothing exceptional — to my mind, Chipotle is better and there is a location around the corner.

Some of the finest Mexican food that I have ever eaten. Service was outstanding. Our server checked on us numerous times. The food came from the kitchen at lightning speed, even on an extremely busy night. Complimentary chips and salsa hit the table before we...More

28 years since I came here and nothing has changed. Still the best chips and salsa in the world. The beef fajitas are exactly as I remember them to be. Missing is the cast iron bathtub full of ice and cold bottles of beer. It’s...More

Definitely worth a visit. Super fast service and solid options on the menu. It's a lively environment and then turn the tables pretty fast so even if it is busy, you'll get seated quickly. I would certainly eat here again!

We had a wonderful dinner, tasty beef fajitas, great frozen margaritas in a lavishly decorated restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. Our server, Sergio was fantastic and made us feel so welcomed and was very friendly.

Arrived at 9:30 on Friday night and were able to get a table in 15 minutes. I had the fajita salad and my friend had the empanadas- both tasty. Good for a quick meal

Neat restaurant, busy, 2 floors, and large menu. The field of greens salad with blackened salmon was tasty for $9.95! Taco, Chicken Enchilada, and beans and rice for $7.95! The chips were great! The food came out of the kitchen in about 15 minutes. The...More

Hi. All of the answers from previous reviewers I read regarding getting a gift certificate are the ones I would have suggested. They are very accommodating and I'm sure a quick phone call will get the result you want.

As far as I can remember there is no Kid's menu but it never stopped us from bringing our daughter - from the time she was a baby up to now (she's 6). Border Café has plenty of dishes that can be shared with a kid... More
