The food was fantastic - Soooo good - we will definitely come back next time we visit the Boston area. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the service was very friendly. The only odd thing was that when I called to make a reservation, we were told that they were full, and we could only sit at the bar... More

Was in Boston area for a meeting. Wanted to find somewhere to celebrate Mardi Gras and Tupelo was the place to be. We showed up around 6:30 without reservations. We were told that we couldn't get a table until 9:30 so we figured we would just hang out for a few drinks and listen to the band before we headed... More

I am definitely a fan! We came across town to Tupelo because I was craving something heavier and warm feeling and it was the perfect choice. The place was cozy and the staff was so nice and relaxed. We decided to order a few things since the bf and I love to share and I just couldn't decide what direction... More

I came here for brunch with a few friends. Everything we ate and drank was amazing. I highly recommend you try the pimento cheese to share (with a party greater than 4 you should get 2 orders). I ordered the biscuits and gravy which was yummy and very filling. Others in my party ordered the gumbo which was huge and... More

Coffee, comfort food, always busy but rarely a wait - it's everything you want your Sunday morning to be. I am definitely not a white gravy person and I am in love with their biscuits and gravy!

Stopped by Tupelo for dinner recently. Service was very friendly, kitchen cranked out dinner quickly, good music piped into dining room/bar area. Ordered the fried chicken with jalapeno mac & cheese, collard greens, cole slaw and cornbread with sweet tea. Chicken was cooked perfectly as were the sides. A hefty portion for the price, so go hungry!

We saw this on DD&D, and just had to visit. We were there for brunch. We couldn't make up our mind so we went crazy. We ordered the gumbo, the biscuits and gravy, the cheesy grits and the applewood bacon. The cheesy grits were absolutely my favorite but it was all exceptionally good. They also had brewed tea. Such a... More

We stopped at Tupelo during the Boston leg of our New England road trip, having seen them on TV. For Europeans (Brit and German), the southern cuisine was a great new experience. The atmosphere is mellow and relaxing, I really liked the lay out for such a small place. The beer selection is impressive and looks like its regularly updated.... More

Nicely set up space with fun ambience. Started with cornbread, German pilsner, and an arugula salad all outstanding. We both got the fried chicken. I loved the chicken, but hubby thought the chicken breast he had was a bit dry. Mine was fine. The jalapeño mac'n cheese was also real good. However, the collards were vinegary, as was the slaw.... Place was half full and there were only two servers on but we were still helped right away - girl we had was friendly and attentive. Super relaxed place to hit when you want some killer comfort food. Had the fried chicken with mac n cheese, greens and some kind of pickled turnipy-type mix. I would do horrible, unforgivable things... More
