The lobster soup is so great and is cheap compared to the one in Reykjavik downtown. The owner is so nice! Recommend to everyone

We saw a sign advertising the lobster soup while looking for a light lunch, the 10 of us enjoyed the lobster soup, bread and meringue cake. A must stop for a quick lunch.

On a tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula, we stopped at this restaurant on the waterfront at Grindavik. It was charming. Lobster and lamb soup are served up in big cauldrons with lots of rye bread and rich butter. Delicious!

I would not suggest a walk, especially not during bad weather, the area is pretty exposed. As well, as per fellow reviewers, this is not a stoll - it is a walk.

I agree. Probably safest to go near lunch hour. There are several other cafes in the area that serve breakfast.
