This one is just fun. This stop is a local landmark. The corn dogs are coated with actual cornbread, not the sweet spongy coating you find on some corn dogs. Fun family stop- not too expensive. Not for the 'foodie'.

The place is unique. Some cool Route 66 history, but the story is the food. They invented the corndog! Fries are good, too. Plus they have the old school syrup for cherry or vanilla cokes at the self serve fountain.

If you go to cozy dog drive in, go for the atmosphere. The corn dog which is called the cozy dog was good, but not amazing. I wasn't a fan of the fries. The dining area was fun and unique with tons of historical Route...More

Our family (wife, two teenage boys, and me) made our trip in July. We finished our tourist activities in this fair city and decided to go the birthplace of the corn dog (er, Cozy Dog, a dog on a stick). It can be easy to...More

Neither my wife nor I are fans of Corn Dogs, but hey this is a Route 66 original! The Corn Dog (to the rest of the U.S.) originated here and was announced as a Cozy Dog. So make sure you say Cozy Dog when ordering!...More

Sonic Drive In has corn dogs and they are cheap. There are 3 locations in town that I know of. They have a website and an app you can download. They serve you at your car window like the old car hop days from the 50's. They... More
