If you like barbecue, this is a great place for take out. I would not recommend actually eating there as the table configuration is strange and not comfortable. Parking can also be a challenge. The brisket was moist and that is what I look at first and evaluating the barbecue restaurant. I had corn and beans as a side dishes... More

Tender meats but small portions and higher prices at this eatery. Tangy sauces and good sides are available.

Big Horn has closed, this is true. I understand, that after cleaning the place up, it will open soon and welcome old and new friends. Promises to be open no later than 2/1/2015. Can't wait.

Their food is so fatty, and the sides are not up to par at all. We really wanted to like this place, but each time the customer service is almost non existant. It's like they have given up! It's a shame.

Very ordinary BBQ. Pretty bland. You're only ten minutes away from Boxer BBQ. There are better choices in town. I will admit I grew up eating Arthur Bryant's and Gate's & Sons in KC and have pretty specific notions of what good BBQ should be.

The food did not have much seasoning. The meat was tender and juicy, though. The sauces were ok and made up, somewhat, for the lack of seasoning. It was relatively clean.

I went for lunch and ordered the beef brisket sandwich. At $6.99 with one side dish, it is a pretty good sized sandwich for the money. Brisket was tender and juicy, cole slaw was a little too dry for my taste and the baked beans were just plain ordinary beans. The hot sauce was tasty without being too hot. The... More

I'm sorry to write this review. I'm sorry because those who were working tonight when we came for dinner seemed very nice. Because of this, I will start by saying I really liked the chicken. This was part of my combination dinner. The rib and chicken combo was served with a leg and thigh, which were smoked and then fried.... More

It's kind of a "dive" but the food is excellent and the help are both interesting and great at service. It's my favorite bbq place in town.

Big Horn Mountain BBQ has a decent brisket sandwich. The meat can be a little dry due to being too lean, so add some extra tangy BBQ sauce to help with the moistness needed for brisket. I have had better brisket so the 3 star review but it is not a bad lunch when the BBQ fix hits you and... More
