My wife and I traveled to Omaha Thanksgiving weekend to visit my son and dined at Brother Sebastian's Steak House and Winery - our consensus choice. The meal was expertly prepared and presented, all ordered the 10 hour cooked Prime Rib (I wish I had taken a photo to share with other readers). The server was very attentive, courteous, and... Felt the need for steak while passing through Omaha, and wanted a local place that had stellar reviews. Atmosphere was quite lovely...however, the gas log fireplace put out a nauseatingly strong smell of gas. It would be a nice place to take a date if you were only considering atmosphere (and if your date has no sense of smell) since... More

My husband and I recently visited Omaha and ate dinner here. We shared a King Cut prime rib. It was literally the best prime rib I've ever had. They offered little candle-warmed dishes of au jous for dipping, and good horseradish - both plain and creamy. But the twelve hours of slow cooking the meat made it so tender and... More

This place was recommended by a local and the food did not disappoint! The restaurant has a very interesting design based on old monastery's references. The steak came with a salad bar which was good but could have had a little bit of more variety perhaps. I don't think they need the salad bar as the variety offered doesn't justify... More

Room temp food, cold customer service. Beware of the dowel rods "holding up" the booth tables. Bright side is that you won't be charged for the "replacement" drinks once they've crashed to the floor.

Brother Sebastian's is a throw back to the classic steakhouses that I remembered as a child. Nearly every meal includes the salad bar full of homemade items. Our table received warm bread and fresh butter. The service was fantastic and the steaks were amazing!! I would highly recommend Brother Sebastian's. Note: we arrived earlier in the afternoon but the restaurant... More

Brother Sebastian's is a classic steakhouse experience. I would recommend if you like seafood to venture towards the platter...two of us ate til full and still plenty left over. A nice departure from stead. The salad bar is one of the few remaining in town and it is well maintained and enjoyable.

Oh, this place is great! When you get to the front door, you'd swear there are monks inside, chanting. LOL. When you go inside, it is a bit dark, but that adds to its decor. They have nearly any type of wine you'd like, from reds to whites, from Chianti to Rieslings. But wait: let's talk about the steaks! They... More

The atmosphere was very cozy. With small seating areas the noise is minimized. The service was good. We were greeted immediately upon entry and quickly seated. The food was excellent.!! Definitely a place I'd highly recommend. Myron
