Was looking for breakfast but wanted to try a new place. We've seen Peggy's numerous times but finally decided to eat. GLAD WE DID!! We had chicken fingers and fries with fruit cup, chicken fried steak with home fries and a simple eggs your way with ham, hash browns and toast. They gave us apple cranberry jam with the toast... My second trip here in a month. First was for dessert...great pie options. Enjoyed the strawberry/rhubarb pie with ice cream. Latest was for breakfast after seeing the menu on the first trip. Loved the corned beef hash. If you enjoy a local diner-type, this is the best I've found. Personally it's a toss-up with Gwennie's for breakfast. This is closer... More

The food was traditional cafe fare, but the Coconut Pie was the best I have ever had. The custard was clearly homemade and it was loaded with coconut. The crust was perfect, thin and crisp.

Wow, what a terrible place to eat. DO NOT eat here. Food was bland and old. Decor from the 60's. Burn it down and put up a McDonalds!!

My husband loves pie and that is what brought us to Peggy's. I had halibut chips and my husband had shrimp. The service was excellent and the food was good.

Perfect little diner for a home cooked meal. Portion was fantastic for the price. It was great listening to the locals and regulars. It was a fun and delicious experience.

Great place to talk to some locals. The have a few tractor trailer parking spaces. I had 4 meals and they were all great. I am going to plead the fifth on how many pieces of pie I had. ( in case my wife sees the review). This a place to go have a nice home cooked meal. It's not... More

Was looking forward to a quick meal and piece of Peggy's famous pie. When we went in, there were people seated at one table, the waitress had just gone upstairs to look for a whole pie a young man had asked about. There were some tables where dishes had been removed, but not one table that had been wiped clean,... More

I went to Peggy's last week and I really enjoyed the food. What I like about this place is that it reminds me of east coast diners. The people are nice, normal, and don't put on a show. The food is really good and their menu isn't over the top. Normal choices of dishes that mostly everyone has heard about.... More
