We didn't make reservations so we had over an hour wait time on a Thursday night. The food was delicious and well worth the wait. Highly recommend the Halibut; one guy devoured his steak so it must have been good too.

You can get anything from a burger to Halibut at the Glacier Brewhouse. I had the halibut and it was delicious. We were a group of 11 people and I don't think anyone was disappointed in their meal. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is nicely put together. Our waiter was excellent - very attentive and knowledgeable about the... More

Though we only had drinks and appetizers, I really loved the atmosphere and decor. The beer selection is great and grateful for the different drink size options so I wasn't committed to a pint of beer I didn't love! I was really hoping to come back for dinner in front of the fireplace after a day of Fur Rondy. The... More

This is our second trip to the Brewhouse (we live in Oklahoma, so we only get here when we visit Anchorage). My first trip a high school friend met us for lunch there a few years ago. When we decided to fly into Anchorage to take the Alaska Railroad to Fairbanks, we knew where we wanted to eat. Our hotel... More

A brew and a hearty dinner - this is the popular spot. We went light - just salads and veggies .. but were amazed by the beautiful platters and tastes. (Try the brussel sprouts!) Our stouts had just the right temp and flavor for a satisfying transition from a cold, busy day to a relaxing spa night. This is a... More

We had dinner at the Glacier Brew House and are pleased that the restaurant is even better than it was in past years. This is a good restaurant for experiencing fine dining as well as casual dining, as the menu contains a lot of great options. The gluten-free selections have increased and are clearly labeled on the menu, but be... More

Lots of good comfort food and good beer. I had halibut and Alaska Amber. Group of seven guys at a high top table. Casual and friendly.

Most of the beers I tried were pretty good. I'd have given a 4, but I suspected a draft line was contaminated. I reported my suspicion to see if perhaps it was supposed to have a sour finish like a gose or lambic. Unlikely, but I asked. The beer was tasted by staff and the person agreed it shouldn't really... Our first stop after a long trip to Anchorage from Texas. The peppered salmon and veggies were superb and the beer also delicious! Husband had the shrimp and grits and didn't even offer a bite so must have been good!

Thank Deb B
