Will be leaving Anchorage in a few days and decided to give Peter's a second visit since I enjoyed their sushi/sashimi so much on our first visit. This time it was just two of us and we sat at the sushi bar... love watching the sushi chef's create. I ordered the kobi salmon and a volcano roll. The kobi salmon... More

Visited Peter's with two non-sushi eating family members. I love shusi and sashimi, and Peter's filled my craving. My dining companions ordered Mongolian Beef and Pad Thai. I ordered seaweed salad and the Spicy Blossom roll. Both were very fresh and delicious. All three orders were served with a house salad with ginger dressing and miso soup. Servings were generous... this place was so good we returned before we flew out; the sushi was very very fresh, very good, service was great, sushi chefs very knowledgeable and friendly; we learned later from a local that this was a good place to go which we had happened upon by chance

He has been trained by one of the master sushi chefs from Japan in early 1980. With his natural talent in art and continuous efforts in serving customer, he always serving the fresh fish and the... The sushi is good, and fresh. Service is good. Everything is ala carte, i.e., soup, side salad....so it's not cheap.

I have a regular ritual when I leave Anchorage. My flight always leaves around midnight and I like to get together with great friends and gorgeous Anchorage women for a going-away roll! I usually go to the Dish. But, this place was closed down for some mysterious reason that locals seem to understand. My great friend, suggested Pete's. Wow! What... More

The atmosphere and service were great, but it's all about the food. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious, and the sushi is worth going to Alaska for.

There are a lot of sushi places in Anchorage but Peter's is always just a little bit better as is the service.

Pete's flies in their seafood daily from Hawaii. I love the Hamachi, and the Uni when its available. My favorite is salmon eggs topped with a quail egg. So naturally I had it with the fresh King Salmon roe. I thought I had died and gone to Heaven. And lets not forget the Spider rolls.
