Hubby and I made a point to stop are the Bakeshop on recommendation from someone who used to live in Anchorage. Upon entering, you are treated with a view of the baking operation in progress and cases of wonderful breads, scones, muffins, etc. I ordered a raspberry scone and hubby ordered a chocolate croissant. Both were delicious and enjoyed with... More

We ate here when visiting Alaska last year, it was awesome them, and they have only improved! The baked goods are still amazing as ever, the smells while eating are delightful, and they have added extra indoor seating. The staff was good, service quick, and coffee, I believe by Kaladi Bros., was quite good. I reccomend you stop by here... More

Was visiting friends who had some fantastic poppy seed rolled breakfast bread at home - they told me that this was the place to get it. If walked in and was thrilled at all the unique breads that are offered. While in Anchorage I ate their ciabatta bread, baguette, and ginger pear scones. Everything was fantastic. Fun place to visit... More

The baked goods are awesome, especially the scones. Great coffee. We also had very good sandwiches at the Logan Street shop out by Merrill Field.

Our family vacationed for a week in a rental home across the street. Most mornings we ventured across the street for breakfast. This bakeshop is a precious gem! The people are darling (and passionate about their baked goodies), everything we got was so tasty and made with love, and we felt very fortunate to have it right there in our... More

This delightful cafe is not open on Monday & Tuesday but it is worth the wait to go back when it is open. There is no espresso choice but drip coffee is ok. There are, however, a variety of teas to choose from. But it is for the great bakery items that folk flock to Fire Island. The Raspberry &... More

Blackberry rhubarb. Raspberry lemon. Not to mention a peach chèvre muffin. Fresh. Buttery. Delicious. That's it, that's all.
