Who knew such great falafel could come from a tiny, unassuming place. The place has only a few tables so is geared to take out. We elected to eat in since there was space available when we arrived. We had the Falafel sandwich which consists of 6 crispy falafels in pita bread stuffed with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, hummus and served... More

Don't let the tiny, insignificant outside fool you! Unbelievably good! Had the falafel sandwich in a fresh made pita. Stuffed full of super crunchy, flavorful falafel and pickled veggies, covered in hummus. Omeeggaaawd.... Delicious! Stuffed and extremely happy :)!!! If you love falafel come see this amazing woman. This is authentic!

My daughter was visiting and we both had an urge for Falafel. The only place I could think of was a little place I had driven by a hundred times but had never tried. We decided to give it a try and drove into the parking lot. My daughter said, "with a place like this, it will either be the... More

My husband and I were visiting our son who is stationed in Anchorage and after reading many reviews of area restaurants, I wanted to try the Falafel King as I had seen falafels on tv but never had them (or any other middle eastern food). As other reviewers mentioned, do not be put off by the appearance or size of... More

This is a little trailer sitting off to the side in a parking lot. The owner is very personable and friendly. There is no sitting available, which is fine. You can take your food home or just to your car. It's worth it. The portions are very generous and tasty. The prices are very reasonable for what you get -... More

I tried the special, fish with garbanzo beans cooked with some other stuff that had a nice zing to it and rice. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by a wonderful combination of flavors. I'll be returning to try some of the other menu options

The way he prepares falafel, this vendor wouldn't survive a week in Tel-Aviv. Falafels were burned, and we found shuarma cut off from the skewer when we came. It was subsequently fried in a frying pan, which defies the whole point of the classic shuarma recipe.

My husband and I are from Israel, so we know what falafel and shuarma should taste like. The falafel was burned, the pickles tasted bad and the salad didn't have any taste at all. Maybe for someone from Alaska this is an attraction, but we didn't like it a bit.

I would recommend this place to family and friends because they have good food. I had a chicken and salad meal and it was delicious. It was plenty for my husband and I to share . If you have a big group I would TAKE OUT because the building is so small, you could probably only sit about 10 people.... More

We were looking to eat something light in the evening during our stay in Anchorage and we found this gem. However, I must say we were about to leave when we saw the place from outside but we still went in considering the reviews I read on Yelp. And all of us were very happy with our visit to this...
