The food was amazing. The pina colada was amazing. The waitress was amazing. The restaurant was stylish and not crazy loud. I had the pork dish and would happily have it again. My only complaint was that the lettuce that comes with the meal was not fresh. It had started to turn red. Everything else was stupendous. Especially the fried... More

I enjoyed my food and drink a lot. I had the mofongo with pernil, alcapurrias, and a velvet Mojito. All highly recommended!

Puerto Rican cuisine. This place looks like the real deal.... it is an average Puerto Rican diner with normal offerings. The sandwiches are good, but they do not offer regular fries, and I am not a fan of sweet potato fries and that is what comes with the sandwich. But... it is worth trying, because there are different falvors than... More

La Isla is the perfect place to grab some great small bites after work, starting out an evening, or finishing a wild night out. The empanadillas are amazing after a night of a few cocktails, and their mojito's fell out of the Caribbean. Check it out and enjoy great bartenders and amazing Puerto Rican food.

This restaurant was simply amazing. My family is from Puerto Rico and the food brought me right back to my grandmother's arms. Chicken so tender it melts in your mouth. Traditional sides and comfort dishes. Special drinks made with secret recipes and delectable desserts that will have you ready to move to Puerto Rico tomorrow. The service was divine. Our... More

We went to this restaurant because my granddaughter and her partner live nearby and love this place. Their food sounds delicious, but after all was finished, both me and my partner were not that happy with our choices. Perhaps it was because some of the food was served with a very garlicky dipping sauce and we didn't really like it.... More

The food is okay overall. Nothing to write home about it. They have combine a few ingredients well but, nothing compares to the simplicity and great home cooking flavors of the Rican "cosina". Do not go out of your way to get here. ***Do not order the Tembleque.

We were pleased with the food and the service. The blackened salmon was great that included delicious sides-plantains, rice and beans, and a mango salad.

We have been to La Isla many times. We just went this pst week as I was looking forward to a good Puerto Rican bistec and a frozen mojito. This is the first time I have ever written a negative review of this restaurant. I don't know if they are under new management or what. We arrive at a non... More
