This bakery is on the same block as the VRBO we're staying in during our visit to Seattle and the aroma as well as the prep room windows caught our attention on passes we made while on the way to other spots in town. Tried it out for breakfast and it's even better on the inside. Lots of hot coffee,... More

Went here a couple of times for takeaway and coffee. Everything was delicious, no matter whether the sweet or the savory baked goods and the selection of bread is extraordinary. You can even watch the staff baking everything fresh next door from the windows outside. Nothing but recommended.

you need to get there early and be able to endure crowds of regulars. Pricy, but you get local ambiance and a good variety of goods.

We visited twice during our short stay in Seattle. Fabulous bakery offering great pastries and breakfast. We enjoyed croissants, scones and their superb multi grain hot cereal and granola & yogurt parfait. Mmmm mmmmm. We saw great loaves of bread and beautiful cakes too. A must during your visit to Seattle.

Splendid coffee and baked goods. Also, their breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. The only problem is that you don't know quite where to stand, where to order, etc.

Not bad but not good! There its a cute neighborhood bakery and the sit down meals looked better then the take away pastries we had. In my opinion there are better bakeries in the area!

The coffee is great, but the pastries are amazing! We stayed near the bakery so stopped in several times. Especially loved the cinnamon apple pull-apart and orange hazelnut sweet roll.

Four of us had breakfast in this deli and we were all very impressed. The service couldn't have been better - very friendly, efficient and accommodating. The coffee and the cooked breakfasts were all delicious. They have all sorts of artisan bread for sale and also some rather delicious looking cakes and pastries. If we lived in Seattle we would... Macrina Bakery is a fixture in Belltown. It is just up the hill from where I live and if I feel like a turnover or other pastry for breakfast this is where I go. On weekends the brunch crowd keeps them busy. They feature quiche of different types and various breakfast sandwiches. It's a nice neighborly kind of place. The... More

We went for breakfast. It's a very cute little shop serving pastries, breads, egg sandwiches, yogurt with fruit. You order at the counter and then they will let you know when your order is ready. The yogurt with the fruit was very good. However, my husband ordered an egg sandwich which the reheated (probably prepared earlier in the morning) and... More
