I was looking for an authentic Indian restaurant when I was in Seattle this week and stumbled across Jewel of India. I wasn't let down by this experience. I recommend the keema naan, lamb butter masala and Taaj beer.

This family knows how to cook! The eggplant baked in a Tandoori oven was particularly delicious. Rogan josh can be made with your choice of meat. Really good food!

The meals were prepared with good ingredients and the flavors of individual spices came out very well. There was therefore a good balance between the "hotness" (chilly) and the spice flavors with generous portions per servings. All served with great zest and enthusiasm!

I come here almost every week and love it every time. The service is super attentive and the food is fantastic. I've taken several friends and family here and they've all liked it too. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. (Get the butter chicken with garlic naan)

Competition on "the Ave" is fierce. You really to stand out in order to bring in customers. Jewel of India fits its name with delicious buffet offerings. Fresh, well-stocked, savory dishes are what keep a stream of foodies stopping by daily. A generous portion of Naan and sweet house-made chai are just a couple of the bonuses here. Costing only... Their daily lunch buffet is an incredible deal, especially as it includes free hot chai! The quality and variety of food is excellent, and they bring you fresh nan. It's by far and away one of my favorite places to eat when in Seattle, and a good choice for dinner too. Tip: they have an Entertainment Book coupon!

We had a great Indian dinner here: the mango lamb was wonderful, we enjoyed the coconut vegetable curry, and the rice that came with them was the best kind, flavorful and fluffy and the perfect foil for those rich sauces. The garlic nan was very good, and the hummus appetizer was the best hummus I've ever had. The family that... More
