The happy hour appetizers are amazing! The mussels and crab cakes are to die for.. we'll be back again next year for sure.

We flew into Seattle Friday evening and by the time we got to our room and back out on the street, it was 10PM. The only place open was Virginia Inn - lucky us! No really! The food was delicious - the service was good, when they came around.

This is a lovely place. The menu has a strong French bistro influence (fabulous moules frites) and is relaxed with excellent service. The room is historical, beautiful and warm with a great old wooden bar and original old white tile floors. The Virginia Inn is next to a popular small strictly French restaurant, we were wondering if they share a... More

These guys were very accommodating letting me pick up an order to go since my friend had already crashed for the day. Got her the squash risotto and I had the crab louie - yum! Enough for 2 meals each!

We recently visited the Virginia Inn for a late lunch. We had been visiting the Space Needle and walking around the Fish Market and wanted a quiet place to sit and have lunch. We stumbled upon the restaurant and just decided to take a chance on it after viewing the menu outside. The bar atmosphere was nice, though, fairly busy,... More

We got off the plane from NYC and wanted to have lunch at Pike Market...not happening as it was more crowded than Fifth Avenue. So we took a walk and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. Good service, a great Crab Louie salad and reasonable prices. My husband had the fish and chips and they were lovely, too.

The place has a great neon sign. Very cool. It's been around since the early 1900's. We were looking for a place with a variety of meals away from the hub bub of Pikes Place Market and felt like we found it here. We had a sandwich and and clams. Both were very good and we had good service too.

We sought out the Virginia based on reviews and were not disappointed. Our waiter was very personable and helpful in choosing food and drink. He recommended the scallops, which I am partial to, but find are too often nearly tasteless. These in fact were delicious. One outstanding feature I had to share with the waiter - all three of us... We ate here on a busy Saturday and our first visit to Seattle. It's on the corner and just a short walk to Pikes Market. We had fish and chips and the fish was local cod ($14) and a hamburger ($14). It was a very enjoyable meal.

Wandered along 1st Ave. looking for food on a weekday. We stopped to read all the menus and the VI's looked good. It is an inviting place, which is unusual along 1st street, as it is populated with many cool bars for well-paid singles, mixing acidic $16 cocktails. For us, the VI offered a delicious grilled sockeye salmon and a... More
