My wife and I planned a special day at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum and also had lunch reservations to celebrate a family members 90th birthday. We parked at the Space Needle valet parking lot and got the wheelchair out and prepared for this adventure. The museum was wonderful and then it was time for lunch. Our server Janet... More

We came here after viewing the TerraCotta Warrior exhibit. What a lovely and charming place for lunch. Delicious food, amazing service and great brunch cocktails! Loved it! Also they have a beautiful outdoor dining area.

I love this place! You get to enjoy seeing so many of Chihuly's little collections, and the menu is innovative and interesting. We tried three of the appetizers - the Manila clams in chorizo broth, the Grilled Salt & Pepper Shrimp and the Beecher's cheese curds. The shrimp was the best preparation of shrimp that I've had in a long... More

My daughter and I were in Seattle at the Seattle Center the other day. Due to Bumpershoot going on in the Armory, the place was packed and lines long to get something to eat, so we walked into the Collections Cafe, we were seated quickly, and due to the time crunch we were on, they showed us, that on their... Dale Chihuly collect things like radios, lighters, bottle openers, fishing lures, etc. Many of his collections are displayed in tables or on walls around the restaurant. While the interior is entertaining the food is quite good to. This is a great place to have a bite between your daytime and evening visit to the Garden of Glass.

I don't know how many times we've walked past this café thinking it couldn't possibly be any good (what museum cafes are, well, besides the one at The Met in NYC?). But, as with the post below, we walked right in before the last show of Shen Yun just on a lark (the Armory was full of screaming kids due... More

We had lunch today before going to see Shen Yun at the opera house. My hubby raved about the specialty hamburger with Kobe beef. I had the chopped salad with a great dressing. I had to ask for more dressing but that's just me, I like lot's of dressing!

Following our visit to the Chihuly Glass display went here for a coffee. Great theme.....there are collections (various themes) On the ceiling and around the walls and as the centrepiece of each table. Coffee was Norman BUT the chocolate Gelato was the best I have ever tasted.

Great food, atmosphere & location for a good price. Funky whimsical collections in the tables & decorating the restaurant. Can't beat it with friendly service & a cool booklet from the cafe of the collections.

The restaurant attached to the Chihuly museum has HUGE burgers. It is also nice to see the collections of Chihuly to understand this artist a little bit better
