I was so looking forward to going to this restaurant and was expecting really high quality food and wanted to try the paella. I started with Potato Croquettes and was highly amused by the waiter trying to talk them up as something special. They were 3 balls of crumbed potato and nothing else. After getting over the shock of the... More

Perhaps we ordered poorly. First, the room is dark and somewhat depressing. From my booth seat at the window, I was looking directly into the kitchen across to the back of the room. I started with dates stuffed with chorizo. The date flavor overpowered the stuffing, and if there was chorizo in there is was hidden to me. My shaved... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Andaluca. It is a bit pricey but the food and service were excellent. For travelers, breakfast is served quickly.

We made reservations for the first night in Seattle. We had the halibut and rib roast. I had the pear salad and we shared the bread basket. The server was very accommodating with our food allergies (tree nuts and shellfish). The liquid chocolate was so good I was tempted to lick the plate...

Stayed at the Mayflower and the Andaluca was part of the hotel. Had breakfast here on our 2 day visit. The choice is comprehensive. I ordered cream cheese on French toast with oranges and maple syrup, it was delicious. The best part was when I ordered coffee. I asked for a 'flat white', the waiter had never heard of it... More

Lovely quirky room, perfect for a romantic dinner. Nice staff. I love paella so had to try theirs. The most expensive paella I've had at 39 (and even more expensive at CAD52!) but a real disappointment. I like a light touch in my paella, and this was sludge. Instead of the usual fluffy rice with various ingredients waiting to be... More

This would be my 2nd time here and I really have enjoyed this restaurant during my visit. The scramble was very hearty and slightly spicy and it created a lovely mix. Staff are friendly and the drinks the bar are a life saver after a days of hard work.

Food and service was excellent. We had lamb chops and the paella. Both were delicious and the wine was wonderful.

We stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel and ordered room service for breakfast from Andaluca. The food came very quickly, which was appreciated. I had the Italian Eggs Benedict. Eggs were poached perfectly, but the tomato hollandaise was salty and excessive. My husband ordered the Andaluca Lox, which was pretty standard. Good, but nothing to write home about. The fruit... This place is uptown for a country boy and I can say we looked a little rough after 8 days of travel through the pacific northwest. To their credit they seated us and yes it was in the very back corner, but the food tastes the same regardless of the table. We enjoyed the roasted cauliflower soup, Machego Cheese plate,... More

Description
Andaluca, located in downtown Seattle, is a nationally recognized culinary oasis. Resonating with the romance of the Mediterranean, its food and design have been a winning combination since 1996. Throughout the handsome space, mahogany mill work, hand painted murals and plush, deep-toned fabrics work together to conjure up a sun-baked Mediterranean grotto.
One of the hottest restaurants in downtown Seattle, Andaluca features fresh seasonal Northwest foods influenced by the flavors of the Mediterranean. Chef Sarah Lorenzen combines strong and aromatic tastes that complement, rather than overpower.
