Want a great meal in a beautiful setting for a good price with great service right in the middle of downtown Seattle? Then you must go to the Met.

The Met is probably one of the three best restaurants in downtown Seattle that includes Canlis' as well two other resturants known for the steak -- El Gaucho and the Metropolitan. The Met has wonderful steaks, drinks, atmosphere, and service.

I have been there a number of times and each time was wonderful. I didn't go away hungry and their beverages are very tasty. One note: you basically order things separately to combine them as a meal. If you're not used to that it may...More

If you've got money to spare it's a great place to go. If not, better places and better prices are available.

Very traditional steak house that also serves up some fantastic seafood. Lets face it though, you come to the Met Grill for the steaks. I love their Filet and if my wife and I are very hungry, its the Chateaubriand for two, finished, carved and...More

Of course the food is good. I would say Daniel's Broiler is better. Typically with prices like this you are also buying the ambiance, but this place is more of like an expensive diner than a 4 star restaurant... I have eaten here many times....More

Cocktail hours are packed and they do serve a mean martini, but the food has wilted. Saturdays are dead unless there's a game. This is a business meeting place, but don't bother with the entrees.

We visited just before the restaurant closed to remodel. Reminded me of where the Mafia, movie stars and politicians all gathers to eat a great meal. Celebrated my Mom's 83 birthday in the place and it was fantastic....a treasured memory for sure.

The service is good and the food always tastes good and presented well. The place can be a little noisy if you are seated on the main floor.

They're closed for six to eight weeks. Their last day before the remodel was June 16. No happy hour here for awhile 😎

We had a reservation on a Friday night. It wasn't super busy but otherwise we may have had to wait for bit. My advice, play it safe and make a reservation.
