I snuggled into this restaurant next to the fireplace on a chilly Seattle day, for lunch with a colleague. The restaurant owners greeted me cheerfully. I can't comment on the sausage, sadly - I had a vegie burger - but it was a fine, tasty vegie burger. Definitely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere, great food, and cold beer.....a few TV's and a small bar area, but lots of tables and just a great place to hang and not too loud so can carry on a conversation.

After scanning the reviews, I was really looking forward to this place, a casual German restaurant with great classic German comfort food. I lived 12 years in Europe and was looking forward to an escape back to memories of trips up the Rhine. The atmosphere is a good gasthaus/brathaus experience for Seattle, though the menu is missing lots of traditional... More

Staying in Hotel nearby trying to find something other than Asian food. This restaurant features German food and Beer. My daughter looked for something more American on the menu and ordered the chicken sandwhich she said it was good. I opted for the Brat, german potato salad, and Pretzel combo. The German potato salad was fantastic, and I enjoyed this... More

Had a great lunch and experience at Schultzy's. Stopped in on a quiet Sunday, lunch was tasty, beer was great and the staff changed the channel to what we wanted to watch (Blazers - Warriors). Very friendly bartender and wait staff, recommended.

This is definitely one of those college town bar experience place. It has fairly decent happy hour menu with lots of sausage option (as you can tell from the name of the restaurant). For bar, it is good, for bar-food, it is good...for really a "restaurant", probably not the atmosphere you seek.

They make their own sausage in-house - from bratwurst to cajun-style. They serve burgers and pulled-pork as well, but I've never had them. The sausage is too good to have anything else. They keep a good range of German beer on tap, along with an IPA or two and usually a few local taps. Full bar plus a few wines... More

Had a bowl with meat, rice, veggies....decent, but not worth coming back. Need more taste/spices. Ate at the bar, where the focus is selling drinks. OK service.

Good bar/pub food in the U-district. Good place to relax with friends in a pretty clean establishment. Standard menu: fries, sauerkraut, bratwurst or sausages, burgers, etc. Friendly service. Can get loud and crowded, but it IS by the U.....

We were drawn in simply by the smell from the street. We were just walking around checking out the university. What a great little spot! Our food was really great too! I had the Cheddar Dog as I was looking for something lighter and my boyfriend had the Cheddar and Mushroom Cheesesteak. The fries were great, everything was great! There... More
