Love the casual vibe. Met a friend for lunch and everything we had was fresh and authentic including the chips and tortillas. Service was friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back for happy hour!

Having moved from the Midwest, we were relatively certain that we were not going to have authentic cuisine in Seattle. We have looked and looked. Well, we found it. Make reservations or go early because the place was packed with a constant line of people outside staring hungrily in the window. As a caution, use discretion when ordering. Two of... More

I love the location of it , I loved the set up it's a nice spot for lunch I'm telling you the food is very average I had 3 tacos asada, al pastor , chicken .. I'm from Los Angeles so I was hoping this was anywhere close to what we find here , it wasn't far from it but... More

This was by far the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Upon your arrival, you are seated at the table and given a tostada. The tostada is covered in cheese beans and chicken. Our drink order was then taken and we were given chips and salsa. The chips were excellent and so was the salsa. The salsa was... More

I visited Fogón Cocina quite by accident last night on my way to get pizza. Excellent Mexican. Happy hour torta and tacos are highly recommended. Verde enchaladas were a bit lacking in sauce, but I love my enchalada sauce! Regardless, I might go back for happy hour tonight. Who needs pizza anyway. Gripe; complementary tortilla chips are thicker than I... More

I hesitated on the excellent rating only because the service was a bit slow, but in their defense it was a Monday (Jan 2) and they were slammed. I am not sure they had planned for that. They did bring us each a complimentary tiny tostada while we waited for our order. The queso fondido was amazing -- as was... More

I grew up in Southern California and was so sad when I couldn't find good Mexican food after moving to Seattle. Fogon has saved me!! I have a soft spot for camarones a la diabla, which lights my tongue on fire, but is OH SO GOOD.. and Fogon does it right!! I crave it regularly and I'm so lucky that... More

They start the experience with a little treat on the house, it was that day a mini bean tostada, nice touch!! Margarita was great and nice size, the tostadas on the menu with the chicken tinga were great, the chorizo queso was rich, the house made chips were the best, the bisteca and chili Colorado were awesome, next time I'm... Love the little tostada appetizer that they give each guest upon arrival! The ceviche is fresh and delicious, their carne asada is one of the best dishes on the menu. The place is always very busy, the vibe is happy great tunes, although both the right place if you're looking for quiet dinner, it is great for eating well and... More

Whenever in Seattle we make a point of having a meal at Fogon. The chips , salsa, and guacamole as a starter are almost filling enough for the whole meal. Street Tacos with Carne Asada were very flavourful, tasty and satisfying. On a Saturday afternoon, not too crowded and therefore customer service was great.
