Monsoon is one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Last night I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection. We started with the imperial rolls which are always a good choice for an appetizer. The cream caramel has to be one of the best I've ever tasted.

Ordered Papaya Salad, Beet Salad, Imperial Rolls, Drunken Chicken, Teres Major, Eggplant, Bok Choy, Green Beans and Large Jasmine. Everything was very flavorful and well done. Total bill was $157.99 so a little pricey but worth it.

Came to this restaurant thanks to an invite by longtime friend Julie. Understated decor but fabulous food in Vietnamese style. This place caters part of the food offerings for our early registration night for our yearly medical meetings. This nights' visit was sponsored by one of the pharmaceutical companies for a talk on PrEP. The appetizers were delicious and included... More

On a recent trip to Seattle we were lucky enough to meet a local friend for lunch at Monsoon. The location was a bit off the beaten track, but the food and service definitely made it worth our time. The shrimp dumplings were delicious as was the combination pho. Will make it a stop on our next trip to Seattle... More

Good pho with lots of meat. Sticky rice and crispy dumplings were also good. Portions were a bit small for us but everything was flavorful overall.

The best thing about Monsoon is their food. It is consistently excellent. I go often. The service varies between good to excellent. If you are going on a weekend evening I suggest making a reservation.

Went for lunch at this Vietnamese restaurant during Christmas week. The place was very crowded and very busy. Since it was our first time, we can’t say if they were understaffed that day or always. The poor waitress could not handle everyone, so we waited a long time before our order was taken. Three of the meals came out at... More

I would have given this restaurant five stars, but the service was terrible. I ducked in on a Wednesday afternoon for a quick bite and drink and was incredibly disappointed by the bartender's service. Despite there being only two of us at the bar and a table of four in the corner, he was inattentive, unfriendly, and managed to get... More
