Well-executed, classic Italian dishes. The pasta with butter & sage was first rate. And the extensive, Italian wine list was fun to explore, as was the Capitol Hill neighborhood afterwards.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a server at another restaurant and so we decided to give it a try. We figured it would be good but the "Everything on the menu for $100 pp" was a steal! The amount of food was more than enough and every dish was delicious. The starter dish was a giant serving of... More

Food is fabulous. We had a reservation for 7:30pm and only got seated at 8:30pm as the people who had our table had been there since 5:00pm and were not moving. I understand the hesitancy to encourage people to leave but if you are going to turn tables be open about it! The fact that they never offered us anything... More

My wife and I went to Sinasse on Tuesday for a late Mother's Day dinner. We were impressed that we were offered two of each serving in half portions to combine as one. We had crushed peas with ricotta cheese, angel hair pasta soaked in butter and egg pasta with goat meat and then the cod entree. EVERY bite was... More

I have a list of restaurants all over the world. Just waiting for that moment when I am in that city to visit. Spinasse is one of those restaurants. It's been on my list for a few years after seeing a spot on food network about the fresh pasta room. OH MY! The restaurant was beautiful with this large open... More

Our son just moved to seattle and his mission was to show us some great finds in food. It had a lot of competition but we all rated this place as #1. The proscitto appetizer is a must! So much and so good. We tried all 3 of the pastas and loved every one. Very rich and flavorful. The califlower... More

Unassuming small restaurant but great food inside. Great service helps you through a unique northern Italian style menu. Make reservations early if trying for 7-8. We split an artichoke appetizer, 2 1/2 orders of antipastas, with a desert and wine for ~$100

Spinasse was recommended to us by a local food lover, who lives in the neighborhood. And he sure steered us right. Tell them Justin sent you! The service was welcoming and attentive without being too too ... great recommendations for wine and food. Good Italian wine choices. Very nice that they offer two portion sizes of food, good for sharing... More

I was was almost tempted not to share this gem with Tripadvisor visors. This is an excellent Italian restaurant in a cozy location, two separate rooms, with an open kitchen located on Broadway/Capitol Hill. The menu is recommended for family style eating. Be careful with that, unless you're extremely honest with the portion you eat, you will want to eat... More

My friend and I had the pleasure of dining here on a Saturday night. We went out of our comfort zone and tried the tasting menu. It was quite a bit of food, but allowed us to try a broad range of food, we might not of normally ever ordered before. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful, especially... More
