Saturday night! Crowded bar and restaurant! But we had the long room off to the side all to ourselves. The food was great, and there was lots of it. In fact, the leftovers fed several folks for several days after. A wonderful slice of Seattle!

We were about to go home after early dinner at Billy Beach but thanks to the dreary weather it made us pause in front of Bastille when we saw the indoor fireplace. Since it was still 'early' (and rainy) so we walked in. Went to the bar area and grabbed seats (with the fire behind us). Cute space. The staff... More

Great food, ambience and drinks. The outside patio is so pretty in the summer time. A great date place.

Nice atmosphere but a bit too loud. Omelette with chantetelles was dry and overcooked with a few Chantetelles in between the two omelette halves. Steak frites were good with tender steak. Service was very good. Parsnip soup was tasty and creamy but needed a bit more spice. Overall felt like we paid too much for average food with very good... More

We had a recommendation and reservation made by a local colleague. It was hands out the best meal of my week long visit. It was nice to avoid the touristy areas which had mixed places. This place had a nice French kind of bistro type feel ambiance with some outside space. A great experience with attentive, friendly service. Good quality... More

We arrived here late on a Sunday evening intending to just get a bite. We had been down the street in Ballard at a cocktail event and actually didn't need any further alcohol to make the evening a success. The choice of a $34 bottle of wine later, everyone was happy and ready to order. We all ended up with... More

The Eggs Benedict on the Brunch menu is very good. It is slightly overpriced though. Our server was very good.

This restaurant is physically beautiful, it must be an old building, with high ceilings and plenty of space. Booths are open so you don't feel closed off, but they provide personal space that feels cozy. We had piping hot French fries to start (it is a French restaurant after all...), and three plates to share which was plenty for two... More

For a great happy hour and appetizers with friends, go to the back bar of Bastille for a fun environment, a great bartender, and fries with dips! The menu is not expansive, but what they do have is very good. The ambiance of this place & the expansive outdoor patio is the big sell in the heart of historic Ballard.... More
