Lovely atmosphere & great service! Sandwiches and baguettes are super delicious, coffees are the best and the chocolate chunk cookie is incredible!

One of our 'finds' in Seattle - located on the edge of the Capitol hill area. Ethically sourced food on top of recycled or re-purposed fixtures and fittings - this is very much a place to be recommended. Even at 11.30am ,it was very busy and you could buy alcohol at that hour (a novelty in the UK). Cappucino -... More
Four of us came here after book signing at the Elliot for a Sunday night meal that was delicious and enjoyable. We were seated quickly on a busy night and had great waitress who helped us choose beer and wine (1/2 price wine on Sundays!) we each had different small entrees - well priced I tried comfort food in meatballs... Very high quality food with decent service. The environment is very unique and exciting to be a part of. This location is slightly louder than most restaurants I have been to in the past which makes it hard to hold a conversation...I would still highly recommend it.
You need to know where this is and it is worth finding. It is not particularly small but has a wonderful, comfortable vibe with great choices for lunch. Wide open - bench type seating and great salads and sandwiches. Also a wonderful selection of tea. At night it was clear it most likely is a place to go for happy... More
We were just wondering, beginning to look at menus and rounded the corner and found this place...we would go back for sure...just a really pleasant unplanned surprise. Course near the real bookstore...

This was everything we wanted and more from a brunch spot in Seattle. We didn't wait long for a table but while we waited we enjoyed a warm coffee beverage... More
This place is usually crowded on weekends, but always worth the wait. You can hang out in the covered foyer or at the Eliot Bay Bookstore next door while you wait. The place is in an open airy space, but still cozy and comfortable. They can handle larger tables, but the layout suits smaller groups. We favor the eggs benedict, BLT,... More
The drinks are good. Hand crafted and unique. The servers are very friendly, Nice location. Easy in and out. Only suggestion let folks know you don't talk all credit cards. Almost didn't have enough to get out. Its worth the stop.
