An average place that serves average food which does not blow you away but does not fully disappoint either. Customer service was okay, options quite usual, restaurant inside nice enough. Wine and food more expensive than in other places. Doubt we will remember this place,...for good and bad.More

For Pizza and scenery

While visiting Koli, please visit Grill It if not anything else then for a pint and pizza. The staff is very friendly, food is yummy and scenery is breathtaking.

Nice evening in Koli

Our family enjoyed our visit in Grill It in Koli. Our meal was delicious, personnel very helpful and friendly. We can recommend.

Everything was good except the food

It is bit depressing to stay a week in a hotel which has only one restaurant which serves bad/tasteles food. Food was like chef was pulled out of jailhouse kitchen, totally lacking of self appreciation and passion for food. Dishes where bland tasting and in...some cases just bad.More

We enjoyed the awesome view but risotto's structure was like porrage, it was missing spices. Also fish was awerage and without spices as well.

Surprisingly good hotel restaurant

The hotel restaurant surprised positively. The view is stunning, it was known, but the menu was also working. If something could be improved, then more local products and importers would be introduced.

Late dinner in the end of August

Food was OK, but nothing special. Service icould have been better as we had to wait for a table more than 10 minutes, even if there was space (considering Covid-19 restrictions) and quite a lot of waitresses working and no other people waiting for a...table.More

Overpriced disgrace

The views are great - and that’s it. Personnel slow, phlegmatic and service non-existent. Food overpriced and bad. Ordered a salmon salad bowl - and got one including CALAMARI and canned MANGO, in the middle of a Finnish National Park. This place is disrespectful of...its customers and a shame to the environment- but clearly survives thanks to the beautiful spot it’s located in. DO NOT RECOMMEND.More

Skip this place

Restaraunt is trying to be fine dining and fails. Food was cold and blend. Fish frozen not fresh. View is great. Service quite ok. But waitress clearly waited to be tip, and when not was roode. In Finland tipping is not needed. Only if you...are very satisfied and food is great ypu can leveys tip,if you want! I recommend to skip this place. Also super expensive!More

Amazing views, food, service and atmosphere

Really tasty food. I ate fried squid as a starter and pork ribs as main course. Squid was really tender and ribs were really tasty and juicy, bones almost fell off from the meat. We waited a big long for the startes but our waitress...was really kind and made us forget about little delay with excellent customer service. Main course and dessert came in time and no delay at all even tho the restaurant was full.More

Dinner with friends

I ate here with friends, we went mid March 2021 around 3 and the restaurant was half empty. This was nice as we were concerned about crowds. They were very specific about our allergies and checked these a few times which we appreciated. Friendly service!

Basic hotel restaurant

Visited in the restaurant two times. Quite basic S-group restaurant and a bit expensive. So don't expect much. First evening I ordered Caeser salad and was ok. Second evening ordered salmon with risotto. Dish was quite heavy and salmon was overdone. Ice cream included ice...- once melted. Service was nice and friendly and views are stunning.More

Good food but expensive

Part of the Sokos Hotel on site. Very good food, both the vegetarian skewer and the meat burger can be recommended. Ambience a bit cold, modern Scandinavian look. Tables with a view need to be reserved ahead of time. Expensive even by Finnish standards.
