We dined here twice during a three day stay at the Manor. On the first evening we chose the Island menu and we were spoilt by the excellent service of restaurant manager, Bilal, and his very competent colleague, Karina. The food was innovative and well...presented. The wine pairing was interesting. The evening was magical. On the other evening we chose the 3 course set menu. (A la carte is not offered). The entree and main courses were excellent. The dessert was rather uninspiring. Bilal was supported by an unexperienced, yet friendly colleague on that evening. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant, if you are staying at the hotel. To provide a fine dining experience at this price the service needs to match up to the food. In some cases it was desperately lacking.More

Unfortuantely too expensive. Food was good but not extraordinary. Too small portions. Could improve the service excellence.

It was a total seduction of courses after courses. There were a lot of exciting pairings and tastes, and each dish incorporated distinctive and local elements typical in Estonia. The staff was exceptional! They were welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The waiter in...charge of my table was polite and humorous. He ensured that my dining experience was a smooth one from start to end. One of the best waiters I have encountered.More

All the foams you would expect, a bit of upselling and an oddly pink-themed menu, but almost everything was excellent (rhubarb and green beans not, and not just because it looks like salmon and capers) and we were well looked after.

The dining room is situated in a glass pavilion overlooking manicured lawns. While we dined, a robotic lawnmower wandered about, providing a small view of the future. White tablecloth tables were widely spaced and attractively set. Our three course dinner (no choices) was artfully garnished...and of good quality. The menu was adjusted for a dietary restriction, which was appreciated. However, without repeatedly replenishing the bread basket, there was not enough to eat. We are neither big people nor big eaters. Also, it was grossly overpriced. For example, when we were seated, a waitress asked whether we wanted sparkling or still water. We responded “sparkling”. She poured our choice from one of the open carafes she was holding. We don’t know what it was, but the two glasses of water appeared as 14 euros on the bill. In all, dinner was almost 250 euros with little alcohol. Our experience (many) in Estonia is that similar dining experiences in similar upmarket venues can be had for 1/3 to 1/2 the price. Also, it was ponderously slow. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours.More

Really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast. The breakfast omelettes were just perfect. So was the staff pleasant and welcoming. Attentive service, excellent wine pairings.

The quality of food here is outstanding. Unusual, inventive and delicious. The three course table d'hote comes with various bits and pieces between courses, and was more than enough for me, but there is a nine course tasting menu too. The menu is limited of...course, but the excellent chef coped well with a vegetarian, at no notice on the first night! Local produce, and a beautiful room and ambience too. Quite expensive, particularly the excellent wine I thought - but in my view worth it. I don't understand the couple of dubious reviews on here - sounds like a different place to where I went - for example, on my visit the food that was offered was (clearly) not French. Nor do I recognise other adverse comments made. I have eaten in many countries - and would say this compares well with virtually everywhere I have been - including France!!More

Originally our plan was to eat once there and test the next evening another restaurant. We stayed in the Hotel 2 nights. Actually we changed our plans. You have the choice between a 3 and a 9 course menu. What we got was really totally...awesome. The first evening I partwise choose the wines myself, but once the waiter (very kind and funny by the way) made such a great recommendation that I let him the next evening a free joice. I would say, I know a lot about wine, but even learned more. Great restaurant, clear recommendation.More

Beautiful setting, but ... a bit too flashy. A service that is of higher category but is too present. Dinner is a scam: a banal kitchen found everywhere, without any gastronomic creativity, 3 courses without choice, tiny portions. Meat and vegetables are overcooked and charred....It would be ridiculous and laughable if the price was not 70 euro the meal, 90 euro with water and a glass of wine. Do not be stupid, avoid eating there.More

For 70 euro, no choice, three dishes without originality. We expect an extraordinary preparation... Three small portions, unimaginative, tasteless, poorly cooked (meat and vegetables are charred). We wait for 2 hours They always come to ask if we like it, and they are right to...worry. Go to France: for 50 euro you can discover what is really gastronomy. Here it is booby catches.More
