Had chicken pot pie. Wife had meatloaf. Great prices and food was excellent. This family restaurant feels like family. Love the overhead train. Adds to the atmosphere.

Just like your grandma's home cooking. Everything made from scratch and very tasty. The servers and staff are very friendly and the whole restaurant has the feel of southern hospitality and charm. The salmon patties are my favorite. It's a local little place that's worth the visit and the prices don't hurt your wallet!

I'm always proud to take my friends and wife here to the Whistle Stop. The food is always consistently good and very reasonably priced. These are hard working people making a living and providing a valuable service to the community with good food, good prices and friendly service. The volume of patrons in the this restaurant proves they really enjoyed... More

We hoped it would be good. Just ok. A good price and friendly service but I'll pass and go to one of many options. Everything taste the same except the good fried chicken and southern tea.

Great place for breakfast. Good friendly service, good food, biscuits and gravy and a variety of breakfast items. The eggs, link sausage, grits, coffee and biscuits and gravy is my order when I visit there.

This is a true Southern breakfast, and with an attraction of the overhead train. I look forward for the grandkids coming so that I can bring them here to press the big red button to start the train moving over the track up above us. Coffee is great and keeps coming, plus I can order a variety of great breakfasts... More

This place is horrible! The food is not fresh and tastes sour. Everything looks like it came right from a can. It's the worst restaurant I've been to in my life!

I went to this restaurant because I was told at the Cartersville, Ga location about them. I live in Dallas and thought it was closer. Both have delicious fried green tomatoes as well as all of their other menu items...I still like the cartersville location the best though

Sunday morning breakfast, Eggs/Ham/Grits etc., for me, Two Biscuits with Gravy for my wife. We have eaten here a couple of times and nothing ever changes, (which is good), Service prompt and friendly, Priced right, Food Very Good. Kids in next booth very enamored with the model train that circle the ceiling, which takes about one minute or so. Fun... More
