Nice lil place with friendly staff. The photographs around the restaurant and in the halls of the hotel Seward are timeless and wonderful!

Breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs was pretty good. Coffee was very good. Service was very good. Dining room is small with 4 or 5 tables and a bar. Located inside Hotel Seward where we stayed, so was convenient.
We stayed in the Hotel so had dinner here our first night. Our Server was a very nice young man and I even briefly talked to the Chef who described his Soup of the Day. It's a very tiny restaurant with maybe 8 total tables....More
The food here is superlative. Even if you're not staying in the Hotel Seward, you're missing out if you don't go here to eat.

We had a bday dinner and it was fantastic. Server was great and the meal was really good. There were 7 of us and they gave us a private room.
Enjoyed breakfast at Ms. Gene's during our one night stay in Seward. We had an egg scramble with reindeer sausage and a Belgian waffle. The bartender / waiter was very pleasant and attentive, and the chef served our food to us the second it was...More
It is always a pleasure to dine at the Hotel Seward and Mrs Gene Place. Mary and the staff make the experience, and the food is alway great.
Couldn't resist ordering the salmon with pasta - proved to be a great choice! My wife ordered the halibut cheeks - also a great choice... A small restaurant, located inside the Hotel Seward...A must find/must dine when you're in Seward!
