This was actually my favorite meal on my vacation in Alaska considering the price. I had the blackened Halibut burrito and my girlfriend had the garlic chicken and we both loved our food. The homemade salsas and taco sauces are also great. I would recommend this gem to everyone in Seward! Especially if you don't want to spend $30-$40 per... More

Small little place with really good fresh food, for a good meal on a tight budget this is a great place to go while in Seward. Fresh sauces to go with your burritos and other dishes. Definitely recommend this place.

I ate at this place two days in a row...without even blinking. I couldn't believe I happened upon it walking. SUCH GOOD STUFF. I am vegan and this place was a life saver on a seaport. For reals! The assortment of homemade hot sauces is SO AWESOME. And I am NOT a hot sauce person. So no fear....not all are... More

Good place for a quick bite. Six of us ate here, and all but one was pleased with their meal. The quesadillas, beef burrito and fish tacos (we had rockfish) were all good. Only an average review for the philly burrito. We ordered the chips and salsa and were pleased it included six different salsas for us to try! We... More

Our 2 hour drive from Anchorage to Seward left us ready for a nice prepared lunch and we were able to locate this nice quaint place near the Seward Small Boat Harbor. We got their around 11:30a.m. and within an hour's time, it got very busy and full. You order your meal and they make it fresh on the spot... More

I enjoyed the burrito from Railway. As a burrito expert from Southern California, I thought it was good. I got it to go, then took it to eat at the local park overlooking the harbor - very nice...!

Nice staff, and decent Mexican food, with a slightly Alaska twist -- try the fish tacos. It made for a nice break from salmon....

Nothing special, but fairly good simple food. Frankly, the food in Seward is pretty bad and so the Railway Cantina stands out. The food is fairly fresh and the service is fast.

This is a very small place, perfect for a fast lunch. I used to go here for the halibut tacos years ago, it was great to see the "new to me" owner still offers them. I loved it. Ignore other critics who complain about the cost, it is Alaska. Check your map, think about where you are. I have always... More
