Don't be fooled by the name--this is a restaurant for families and locals as well as couples and dates. Big servings of very good food. Try the halibut tips or the rockfish tips. Or the rib roast or steak! A local restaurant known by boaters,...More

This is Alaska grub at it's finest. The decor is dark and very retro. It's mostly fried foods, but the salad was cold and crisp. My husband raved about the chowder. I didn't think I would, but I really liked the tater tots. Very crunchy. The...More

We had the hallibut, fries and slaw. The sides are large so plan to share! The food was really good and I would recommend to anyone visiting Seward.

I am not a seafood eater and wanted a patty melt. I ordered the sandwich with a draft Alaskan Amber Ale and sat at the bar near the front entrance. It was early afternoon and the place, although dark, was busy. The sandwich was cooked...More

I have mixed feelings about this place. The food was average but the decor makes up for it. We had cheese sticks. They were fine nothing homemade or special. I asked if the chicken tenders were hand breaded or frozen and the waitress said frozen....More

Food and service were great! Deep fried halibut and onion rings are always top notch, and this is one of our favorite places to eat whenever we visit Seward.

After waiting more than 5 minutes at the door finally someone decided they had better show some interest. Once seated it was another wait for our waitress and again for our drinks. Ordered the " bucket of but" (battered halibut chunks) with tartare and a...More

My husband and I love hole-in-the-wall restaurants and bars. Thorn's has a great atmosphere where you are transported back in time. From the pleather ceiling and walls to the Jim Bean collection, there's plenty to see during your visit. We sat at the bar where...More

I found a menu online on the zomato website(I can't post the URL here) but I have no idea how current it is. I can't remember the prices I and my group paid back in February but I think we paid a few dollars more for some... More
