This is a must do in Kona and Hawaii. You have the pool on one side the ocean on the other and Kona town on the other. The staff is amazing and the drinks are really better than anywhere else. Set that side the atmosphere...More

We ate here for brunch after our minimoon stay at the hotel. It was delicious. Loved the food and atmosphere was great. The customer service was awesome and our server was very attentive to coffee refills and taking plates away. There's a really neat pancake...More

Well we were so looking forward a very special night but were sadly disappointed. The setting was amazing but the food was terrible from start to finish. The ahi tuna poke had no flavor and it was stringy. The tsunami prawns said they were Jumbo...More

Don the Beachcomber Restaurant is one of our favorite restaurants to go to. Don't understand why it is not one of the top rated restaurants in Kona. However, it is only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Not sure why, unless it is because...More

Perfect place to watch as the sun sets over Kona. Very peaceful, unless there is torrential rain. Started with the Kahuna Don's Island Breeze Salad. So fresh and yummy. Mixed greens topped papaya, mango, pineapple, avocado and roasted pecans. The lilikoi vinaigrette is so delightful....More

Great bar location. Perfect for watching the sunset. Bar is located adjacent to where they have a luau on Tues & Fri. You can see the dancers and hear the music from the bar. We had second mai tai and a free show.

Yep, this is the place. If you want an original recipe Mai Tai, you need to have it made here. They invented it. Awesome! I'd recommend it.

Sunset, ocean crashing below you, balmy evening, great food and drink (consider the priced fixed for two menu item. Good deal, with a bottle of wine included! Fine service, too.

Title of review says it all. They really know their Mai Tais here. They could use some extra staffing during happy hour, though. The whole area was packed and they only had two bartenders. Great view, too.
