We found this spot based on a recommendation from a blog post and could not be happier- the food is a delicious fusion of traditional Hawaiian and Asian flavors and portions were extremely generous. Loved it!

The food here is outstanding, I would highly recommend the Garlic Furikake Chicken and Beef Bulgogi; this was my favorite dish while visiting Korea and Broke Da Mouth Grindz version was spot on! A little off the main drag, but well worth the stop.

Quality pig and big pawn. Sides were very flavorful. I would go back but this is not the 5++++++ that seems to be reflected in some reviews. I am not dissing this place at all but it is very good plate food not an out...of this world experience. My mouth is not broke. Mahalo for the great meal.More

Visited many places during our two week stay, this was in the top 2. Although many items were tried (all were good) the standouts were their furikake (sp?) chicken, the crab/broccoli side dish, and the kona coffee ice cream cake. The portions are big, so...bring your appetiteMore

If you’re sick of overpriced fish and chips and $18 burgers, try this place. Actually, even if you aren’t sick of those things yet, you NEED to try this place anyway! Holy crap. I had the “hurricane style” furikake chicken, and it was absolutely incredible....Easily the not only the most different thing I’ve eaten on the island, but also the best.More

We often visit places reviewed by Guy Fieri when we travel and are very glad we stopped here. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We tried the Garlic Furikake Chicken and the Short Rib / Garlic Furikake Chicken combo plates. Both exceeded our expectation...and there was enough food for 5! If you're in the area - do not hesitate - this is a terrific place with friendly people and great food!More

We ate here on our last day on the Island and I really wish we ate here sooner so I could have gone another time. I had the spicy garlic furikake chicken and kalua pork mixed plate and both were outstanding. You get a lot...of food between the rice and 2 sides, I wasn't able to finish my sides and didn't touch my rice. Next time I would probably split the 3 meat mix plate between 2 people instead of trying to get a 2 meat plate per person.More

These are difficult times for the Hawaiian L with whiteeisure and Sporting Industries. Get used to wearing a mask when walking around but not when dining or drinking. You'll find hand sanitizer at the entrance to all businesses. I ordered a pulled pork dish with...white rice. the pork was succulent sunk in a slight salty pork juice. Very tasty. The masked staff was efficient and friendly. It wasn't busy. I recommend this restaurant as real value. Price, service, and food.More

Visited Broke Da Mouth on the strength of reviews here. I ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken Plate with macaroni salad and kimchee. The chicken was a huge disappointment. The coating was chewy and not pleasant. The flavor was just sweet; I couldn't really taste the...garlic. The chicken itself was tough and dry. The macaroni salad was light and fluffy, but really didn't have any flavor. The kimchee was fine. The serving size of the sides was also a bit of a disappointment. The amount of the chicken and rice was good. I went around 4:30 to avoid crowds. The chicken was not hot, so perhaps I got the leftovers from the lunch. If you're hellbent on coming here, my advice would be to get there before the lunch rush and then maybe you'll get fresh food. This won't help the flavor, though. It's just lacking.More

It was back in November 2019 when we ate at Broke Da Mouth Grindz Walua Rd location. We chose their (now closed) Walua Rd location because it was closer to where we were staying. We were able to score a spot in their parking lot...and after a short wait we were seated. Did note that the chairs are a bit bulky and their table spacing made if difficult on the staff to maneuver between the tables when the chair were occupied. But again this is an endeavor for the food, not necessarily the ambiance. We ordered the Garlic Chicken Fries and the Oxtail Adobo with Lechon combo. Everything was comfort food level which is great! The chicken on the fries was spectacular while the oxtail and lechon were broke da mouth. The chili peppa wattah was sweet with just a nice hint of heat and a good addition if you wanted that extra kick. Service was very good. Would I go back? Absolutely yes!More
