Ate here multiple times for breakfast during our trip to Big Island. Sooo yummy and refreshing. Had both Acai bowls and smoothies, did not disappoint. Small eating space and packs up quickly.

We discovered this at the beginning of our trip and these were some of the best Acai bowls we had! Huge sizes, so great value if you want a fresh smoothie to fill you up and so good! We went out of our way to stop here for breakfast one morning and was well worth it.

Excellent acai bowls. My wife and I went here twice for breakfast. They are a bit pricey like most places to eat on the island, but we think it's worth it. The fruit is fresh and the mix of acai with fresh fruit, granola and honey is fantastic. Highly recommend going here at least once. There will be a line... More

Stopped on my morning jog just to take in local scene and noticed Basik. This is right up my alley. I had a bowl with the freshest ingredients and the most succulent combination of tastes that I've ever had. The drizzle of honey and the cocoa and different flavor of milk made it like an orgasm in a bowl.

I just can invite you to go gett a acai bowl there, really tasting, healthy and fresh! You also have a beautifull view to the sea if you stay there eating your bowl!

Loved having a fresh acai bowl. While the price may seem high, it was packed full of fresh ingredients and the small bowl was very filling.

Three rather rude and unfriendly staff that had no regard to address my concern. Very long waits and small portions. After a messed up order the incapable cashier delivered we were let down. A small bowl was supposed to be a large bowl so the cashier grabbed it from my hand and took it into the private kitchen (why is... More

You’ve probably heard of Açai Bowls: a refreshing bowl of goodness featuring a frozen-type-smoothie (more like a sorbet/ice cream/frozen yogurt texture) with an array of tropical fruits and goodness all over. You can have honey, coconut, cocoa, strawberries, bananas… everything you can think of. It’s a fruit bowl on steroids. The best place to get them in the island is... More

My wife and I loved our visit to Basik Acai. This tiny counter-service restaurant offers the best Acai bowls and smoothies in Kona. The staff is excellent and the vibe is super-fun.
