Amidst the typical beach bar scene in Kailua, Jackie Reys was a great find. The menu is not extensive, but everything is delicious. The lilikpi martini is outstanding, as is the rosemary bread. Entrees are well presented with a good interesting blend of flavors. Save...More

My wife and I enjoyed a well prepared dinner, nothing particularly special. She had the mushroom pasta and I had the guava baby back ribs. I'm not sure how the ribs were prepared, but they were probably what you would expect from any restaurant that...More

Poke tower appetizer was good, seafood trio had great sauce and the best crab cakes anywhere, mochiko fish was mouthwatering and the local porkchops succulent. The best was the chocolate macnut coconut gelato!

We visit Jackie Rey's every time we want to impress our visitors to the Island. They always have great friendly service, and the food is excellent. The fresh fish is usually offered in a variety of dishes, great ribs and even the burgers are exceptional.

Your question has been answered but I would also advise you to rent a car. The island is large and so beautiful that you need to explore it. I love the small towns in the high country. The ride from you hotel is nice and the... More
