Happy hour till 5 when dinner starts. No dinner till then. Excellent food and service. Prices are not cheap but “ Hawai’i normal”. Happy hour also has 4 or 5 small entrees to select so not just snacks. Fine place, no issues

We went for happy hour and it was one of the best meals we had on the island. Kailua pork spring rolls and the coconut creme breule was fantastic. I would go again in a heartbeat. The staff was wonderful.

We stopped by Jackie Rey's twice during our trip - once in Kona and once in Hilo. We enjoyed both visits, although we much preferred the design and location of the Kona branch. The drinks are fun, the food is tasty and locally style. Great...More

I went there a few times but only for happy hour. The prices are ok, the happy hour snacks are very good (quesadilla, ribs, spring rolls, etc). I really liked their Mai Tai.

This restaurant has a very Hawaiian feel. We were seated at a booth and served promptly. We had read that the servings were big, so we just ordered ribs. They were absolutely delicious, fall off the bone, finger licking good. The coleslaw accompaniment was also...More

Grilled foods not normally separated during cooking but may be able to be cooked separately of which you would have to talk to the chef or management first. Aloha

Your question has been answered but I would also advise you to rent a car. The island is large and so beautiful that you need to explore it. I love the small towns in the high country. The ride from you hotel is nice and the... More
