My wife and I ate here upon the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel. I know she was just doing what everyone is told to tell the guests checking in, but maybe they should stop doing this. My wife's chicken piccata was super tough, she almost couldn't cut it, much less chew it. And the garlic was all... More

My wife & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience at the 29 Palms Inn. The salmon special was delicious, which came with a mint tzatziki sauce, rice, & fresh veggies.

By far the best option in town. What a change it makes to have something fresh, good and reasonably priced. The location is great too, on the way to Joshua Tree NP, on the edge of town. It is also has small appartments which means it has vast grounds and a swimming pool. Good for kids too with a play... More

There aren't very many good restaurants in the high desert but this is one of the good ones. The food is pretty tasty and relatively healthy. The service is good. And the location is nice. The restaurant has an outdoor eating area near the Inn's swimming pool. The only thing I would say they could do to improve this is... More

We arrived right at sunset, and the natural visuals were enhanced by the pool and the lights surrounding. We ate outside because it was dog-friendly. The outside temperature was ideal. I had a delicious steak salad and we shared a flavorful bottle of Sauvignon blanc. The steak was nicely seasoned and perfectly medium rare. The service was nice, friendly and... More

We enjoyed our table outside on a Sunday night by the pool. Live music on the pool patio was an added bonus! Our waitress was attentive and provided all the daily specials, and we selected the pasta. My daughter was especially pleased with the sourdough bread basket delivery. Our pasta special was delicious and as unique in flavor as the... More

We started doing box lunches so that our guests could have easy and delicious picnics out in the National Park. We are so glad to hear that they still are making people happy! Thank you for joining us at the inn and we hope to see you again soon! More

Great place to spend a few nights while visiting the surrounding desert. Quiet, great food and super little cabins made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had excellent service and creative and excellent meals. Even the salad dressing was exceptionally tasty. As we ate we both felt like we were sitting in a restaurant in the Caribbean. This restaurant would definitely work for any special occasion. This restaurant was a tiny bit tricky to find but completely completely worth the minor search.

Description
Join us in our relaxed, art-filled restaurant for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. Our menus feature fresh seafood, steaks and prime rib, pastas, salads and delicious vegetarian dishes. We take pride in baking our own sourdough bread daily, and making all of our own soups, dressings and desserts. When available, we incorporate fresh & organic fruits and vegetables from our own Faultline Farm. Dine poolside, or indoors, and enjoy live acoustic music seven nights a week. Visit our blog to see our monthly music schedules.

Our restaurant seats on a first come, first serve basis. We strongly recommend calling ahead 30-40 minutes before you plan on arriving to speak with our host. We will be happy to give you an update on how busy we are, and if there is a wait list, put your name it. To keep things flowing in our small dining room, we will direct large parties of 10 or more to make arrangements with our Restaurant Manager.
