This is a great mountain ski restaurant above Scheffau with a very wide choice of dishes, good pricing, excellent service and a choice of well appointed seating areas. We have tried a few different cafe and restaurants across the Ski Welt Region and we think this is one of the best. This is our second year in succession skiing this... More

We came here when it was busy and a traditional band were entertaining the lunch time guests. It is in a lovely location and has terrace seating all round. Although it was vary busy, being served was not a problem. Everyone was friendly and the food was varied and delicious. Great for families too ! On the mountain where kids... More

A massive place, very spacious with beautiful surroundings. Traditional Austrian dishes including one of the best Tiroler Grostl around 😀 and at very reasonable prices.

Nice long slope for daredevils and medium practitioners. Variation is track and beautiful nature, when you don't ski too fast

Tanzbodenalm is very well located and is a large restaurant that still manages to have a good, traditional character and serves similarly good, local food. It can get very busy at lunchtimes and that makes it hard to find a table and then service can also be slow. But overall I like this restaurant and recommend it.

Visited at least four times for lunch during our skiing holiday. Tasty dishes, not too expensive. Atmosphere was very good and service very friendly!

Wooden Ski Hut style restaurant. Had coffee and chocolate and sat outside in the winter sun enjoying the views.

Newly extended with a nice sheltered sun terrace. Apparently last year they ran a half marathon here, and the route passed through the terrace. No runners today though. It's very convenient for anybody heading to Ellmau, or even down to Scheffau. Apart from the big motorway service station at Brandstadl, this is the first place you get to from the... More

We stopped over for a brief lunch break during our recent skiing holidays. It is one of the many huts in the area and offers little distinction from the others - except the fact that they have no self-service area but served food only. This is not the place to expect any 'typical' Tyrolian or Austrian ambiente - it is... More
