Not many eateries to choose from in Plains. We were a bit confused when doing our research from home about the Old Bank cafe vs Buffalo cafe and where it was located. But when staying at the Old Historic Inn, you walk out the door...More

After visiting the historic sites, and finding out " The Cafeteria " was closed........we stumbled upon the old bank cafe, which is located a couple of doors down from the peanut store. Lunch was simple and tasty......we ordered the pulled pork sandwich.......served on a hamburger...More

Friendly people and great food. A must stop when traveling through. Down home atmosphere and still has the old bank safe in the wall.

Nice outside seating area, great service. Average sandwiches, but the fried green beans were awesome, nice, light, crispy coating. Had never had them before, but would definitely recommend.
