Look, it's on Canal, so the later it gets, the more you might want to consider getting your food to go. But nothing against the restaurant itself which is ok. But the food is a nice change of pace if you're in town for a while and want something different. The wonton soup is the best I've had. Period. Egg... More

The food was ok. The staff could be friendlier considering theyre located in a toursit area. The weather was really bad and we wanted something quick to take to our room. Under any other conditions we wouldnt have eaten here.

Had this place deliver to our hotel. We had to use the atm/cash only on delivery. The food was warm and pretty good. The absolute best thing they serve are their soups! I had the chicken and rice and my friend had the won ton soup. Both were fresh, with fresh herbs and homemade. Absolutely delicious.

I ordered spicy shredded beef combo, the beef was not even close to being spicy or shredded. It had a vague taste of sweet and sour sauce. I also said I would be eating in the restaurant and was given a take out box with two packets of sauce and a plastic fork. The warm corona cost $5 and the... More

This is the cheapest fastest take out Chinese food in the French Quarter. Keep in mind this is not intended to be high dining!

More of a give an order at the counter then take your soup back in a plastic container type restaurant. The Steamed Dumplings were cold. The soup was good but plastic container to eat in, come on. The mains at least came on a plate and we're hot and tasty. Very much down market service but the food if a... More

We ordered from our hotel for delivery. We ordered a quart of chicken fried rice for our family, along with egg rolls, fried dumplings, crab ragoon, and fried dumplings. It was all super amazing and with fast delivery, delivered on a bicycle. One of the best Chinese food experiences I have ever encountered.

I was a bit skeptical but since this is one of the few places that deliver I thought I'd give it a shot. At 11:07 I called and placed my order. I received it just over an hour later. While not hot it was warm. I ordered General Tso's chicken and vegetable egg roll. The egg roll is more what... More

Food just OK, certainly far from great Chinese food! Just ate there to get some fast food. If you want great Chinese food, don't go here.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
