The food was terrible and prices just as bad. Had daily specials. I ordered one and told it was frozen and would take to long. So, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and got fried. To top it off waitress spilled drinks when first there. Lucky it was only water on my side of table. It went all over me,... More

Well, it is edible. But... Supposed crawfish pie had three little pieces of crawfish on top, but god knows what was inside it. French fries? Plain, not salty, I think McDonalds has it better. Oyster soup didn't really taste like anything, and it cost $5 for a cup. And the main course - fried shrimp platter had maybe 12 shrimps,... More

The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was outstanding. The seafood was as fresh as if I caught it myself. Family friendly and the waitstaff were very friendly.

We visited here for spring break & thought for sure we were going to have some good, Orleans food. Not the case here. If you are looking to play it safe & not experience any good local food, go here. It was busy & they were short a cook. Our waiter was nice, but you could tell he was overwhelmed.... More

Really enjoyed our time in this place. The food was very good. Had the sampler plate and it was a lot of food. They were very accommodating to my family as well, giving us a little extra space in the back. I highly recommend it.

Food was not too bad and service made an effort. Place is a little aged, and certainly not a table-cloth type establishment. Burgers and fries were the save choice. Would not go back here.

We were in Jackson Square area for parade and decided on a late lunch. We liked the menu and it looked like a French Quarter restaurant should look- worn and cluttered. Our service was good and the food was very good. Had an open window next to us to do a little people watching.

We stopped in last night. Very few restaurants are open on Fat Tuesday and it was late. But luckily we found this place open. My Bloody Mary was great and our server was fantastic! Very friendly and went above and beyond. Thank you Patrick, we will see ya next year!!!

This was the second time eating in this restaurant and my review couldn't be more different. The first time the food and the service was great, this time the food was tasteless and the service was below average. My wife and I both ordered roast beef po' boys. We both thought the meat was tasteless, and had we not used... More

Stopped in for a rest after walking the Quarter. Just wanted drinks. If you are a hard drinking tourist here to party, then they probably have what you want. If you want a good bourbon cocktail and attentive service, don't bother. Bar isn't equipped to handle a simple Manhattan. Service was extremely slow. Not sure if it was due to... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
