Was served by Steph at the bar and she was enthusiastic helpful and friendly. Service was prompt and well-presented and was more than happy with my food a great place to eat just off bourbon Street

This place has a decent selection of seafood and they are especially known for their soft-shell crab and charred grilled oysters. I had both for dinner and they were ok but nothing to write home about. This is not a fine dining restaurant. We had...More

After scoping out the block long line at Acme Oyster Bar across the street, we opted to eat at Felix's instead. We were able to get a seat at the back bar fairly quickly. The street music wafted in from Bourbon Street which gave the...More

Loved the food. The Char Grilled Oysters were to die for. And the Best Crawfish Etoufee I have ever had.

I love fried shrimp however don’t order that often. Figured I’d give Felix’s Shrimp a try. Best I’ve ever had. Generous amount (8-10?) piled over fries and hush puppies with coleslaw. The shrimp were large and fried to perfect juiciness. Breading has some cornmeal which...More

I've been eating here since I was a teenager, and always try to visit when I'm back in town. I enjoy sitting at the bar and having raw oysters. The oysters are fantastic. The men shucking oysters are always friendly, and often slip in an...More

We were so happy that someone had told us to go to Felix’s if Acme had a lineup. What a great meal! The oysters and blackened shrimp are perfect. Best bread pudding I have ever eaten. We shared an oyster appetizer, a shrimp platter and...More

Was here with friends for dinner. We were seated promptly and the service was terrific. Fast and the waiter knew the menu items well, made recommendations and had a good Cajun accent. Soft shell crab platter was very large portion. I had the jambalaya and...More

Deterred by the long lines on the previous evenings, we strategically decided to go for an early Sunday dinner during the Saint’s home football game! Our decision paid off because we were seated immediately in a less than half-filled restaurant. Unfortunately, while we wanted a...More

This place has great oysters. Period. Better in my opinion than across the street where you stand in a long lines. I too have stood in that long line. For me however Felix’s is second-best only to Drago’s!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
