During a recent 6 day stay in New Orleans while we escaped the path of hurricane Irma, we decided to walk a few blocks from our hotel to try out Tommy's Cuisine and dinner was really quite good. Three of the four of us had...More

A great place the service matches the food quality. I had the the resturant week special and my wife had a chicken dish. Both were excellant. Our waiter was attentive but did not rush us. Best experience on NOLA.

A trip to Tommy's was old-school, dimly lit, a delightful older gentleman server, outstanding food. A bit pricey, but I've paid far more for far more mediocre cuisine. There was the suggestion of the 40s, 50s, 60s style supper club atmosphere better suited to couples...More

Good ole style Italian food...with white table clothe dining! Service is superb, and Mr Tommy will drop by the table to make sure all is OK. Great wine list to go with the various meals! And their turtle soup...only uses the very youngest logger-back baby...More

We ate at Tommys on August 2nd. We had the summer special and the food was outstanding. Of particular note was the desert, pecan praline bread pudding with Bananas Foster.

Old traditional style restaurant with a great menu featuring seafood, some with an Italian flair. Four of us had a variety of appetizers and main courses. Everyone cleaned their plate and was quite satisfied. Excellent waitstaff very promptly refilling water glasses and being quite attentive....More

Great restaurant. Most had one of their seafood plates. My entree was crabmeat au gratin. Very good. Waiter was Sam. Highly recommended. Good evening.

We found a table last minute on OpenTable.com. The service was just comfortable and fun. The food was really good: felt close to comfort food for me

First time visit with a group of 8. Service: very slow and inattentive.... Noise level: deafening. Food: Mostly very good but with some missteps....oyster appetizer for table: great toppings but very small oysters...crab/avocado salad: not lump crab and no notable dressing...most entrees well done but...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
