Tucked back off Royal Street, at the rear of a narrow alley, is a terrific little place to start your day in New Orleans. First....if you want a big breakfast with eggs or pancakes or waffles or other large meals, find another place. This isn't...More

Not sure I would have stopped here if I hadn't been dying for something to perk me up after a long walk around the quarter. It doesn't look like much from the street but once you enter the courtyard you feel like you've stepped into...More

Small cafe and restaurant. There are several dining rooms off of a cute, tucked away courtyard. The Cafe Au Lait is very good. The tuna melt is simple yet tasty on seedy bread. Chips or potato salad come with the sandwiches. Free wifi.

Had never been to the FQ location before. Only knew about the one on Metairie Rd. Got an iced mocha and it was pretty darn good. Definitely a cool location with a hidden FQ courtyard and inside seating as well. There were bunch of cats...More

I quite literally stumbled into this courtyard of Royal Street. The cool breezeway from the busy street back into the quiet tropical courtyard was a breath of fresh air. My feet were tired, I was parched and in need of a beverage and my husband...More

I am in and out of here all of the time. Great coffee and ambiance. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they are as much of the atmosphere as the secluded courtyard. You don't like cats? Shoo them away. I do and they always...More

Our first stop after arriving was here, as we desperately needed food. We ordered a BLT that was huge- easily split between us two. It was divine. Good bacon, roasted turkey, very fresh veggies. We ate our lunch in their stone courtyard, which was very...More

Walking around in the midday summer heat, had a hankerin' for iced coffee. Came aross the Royal Blend and questioned how they made their iced coffee. Usually, an average chain or unknowledgeable barista will explain it's regular coffee poured over ice - which is NOT...More

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
