We ate before the Chewbacchus Krewe came through. Very nice service and great jambalaya. They cooked the rice without cooking it to death and the seasoning was wonderful. Abita beer as well.

I had the meatloaf, my sister had the fried chicken. We took the cheesecake with praline sauce. This restaurant is the bomb! Tell them Cindy sent you!

We arrived about 4:30 PM on a Sunday night. As there were very few people, we were seated quickly. We waited and waited. Finally a server came to ask if anyone had waited on us yet. We asked for a couple of beers ... and waited and waited. Finally, I asked another waiter to please ask our waitress to bring... More

Like I mentioned on your Yelp review, this isn't the service we're known for. You should expect my team to be attentive, so I'm sorry if that wasn't the case on your visit this Sunday. Rest assured that I will be following up with my team about this, Judith -- thank you for bringing this to my attention. Sincerely, Curtis... More

Great place to get a taste of New Orleans. Good Gumbo, catfish, and alligator. I wasn't impressed with the red beans and rice. They tasted like Blue Runner. Everything else seemed fresh. We had a group of 12 and sat in 20mins.

While the red beans and rice failed to impress, I'm thrilled the rest of your meal more than made up for it! Thanks for giving us a try while visiting New Orleans -- hope the rest of your trip went just as well. All the best, Curtis Owner More

Queen served our group of 10 late Friday night. We had many different menu items and all were good. Their drinks were enjoyable. We'll be back.

Food was just OK. Every other place we ate in NOLA was much better. If I had known better, I would have given this one a pass by.

I'm disappointed the food didn't live up to NOLA's standard in your eyes, Sherry. As you've probably learned from your visit here, Cajun food is supposed to be full of flavor -- that's exactly what you should have expected from us. More feedback about what you ordered would have been helpful, but I appreciate your comments. Rest assured that I... More

The portions are huge but pretty basic. They only take reservations for groups over 8. Th food is ok but the portions are massive. The appetizer platter for 4 could feed 10!

I sure do wish we'd been able to make a better impression on your visit, Neil. While we do believe in a filling meal, we're also big on flavor and preparation. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't blown away by our food here, as we know that we can do much more. I sure hope we get a chance... More

I started lunch with a cup of the gumbo. It was good but not my favorite. The roux was really thin. It wasn't very spicy either. I had the shrimp dinner as my entree. I had 9 butterflied shrimp with collard greens and crowder peas. The shrimp was fried a little harder than I like but it was still good.... More

You know just as well as I do that the food in NOLA should be rich and flavorful -- it's something that we've prided ourselves on since 1990. If our team was made aware that there was something off with the gumbo, shrimp, or iced tea, we would have definitely looked into it. While we didn't exactly blow you away,... More
