I ordered fried shrimp...easy enough right? When my shrimp came, none and I mean none, of my shrimp were deveined! For those of you who might... More

Several years ago my wife and I had dinner here and everything was delightful. Most recently 6 of us went there, on my recommendation. Surroundings are elegant, but service was only fair. Bread was delivered to the table in a bag and dropped on the table. I ordered Oysters on the half shell. They never came. After I received my... More

Ate lunch on a Saturday. Every bite amazing ( we had crab cakes and crab with avocado salad) followed by dessert. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Food perfect. Reasonable prices for quality. View was breathtaking.

I really wanted to enjoy my Sunday afternoon lunch with my friend. The service seemed forced. I could not enjoy the visit with the constant interruptions. Then before the meal was over the server was pushing hard to sell me a card to use either there or at other locations. Killed the whole mood of visiting with my friend. I... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
