We ate lunch here on a weekday, splitting a Muffaletta and ordering our first Sazerac cocktails. The sandwich was huge. We were going to box up half for the guys but it was so delish we ate the whole darn thing - the bun was from a traditional bakery in New Orleans that supplies many restaurants. Yummy bun. Good filling!... More

I made the mistake of not checking trip advisor before stopping here. I don't like writing negative reviews. There are better options in town. Server was not very friendly, salads tiny, bread is extra with meal. Very overpriced. Average tasting meals.

If you are looking for good New Orleans food this is not the place. We stopped in hoping to get crawfish and they didn't have any. Should have been the clue to walk out but we stayed. Wine glass was not clean. Ordered red beans and rice. No flavor. Ordered gumbo. No flavor. Same with the fried crawfish tails. Not... More

Had dinner on the balcony the Friday after Thanksgiving with 6 other family members (4 adults and 3 18-20 year olds). Everybody loved their meals and the view from the balcony. Best part was our waitress (I believe her name was Deidre)! She quickly moved tables together for our party, noticed that one table was wobbly so returned moment later... More

Watch out for the 18% gratuity for groups. The waiter was a smooth character, well versed in trying to sell you the dearest dishes on the menu. Food was okay but no more. Drinks are expensive and that gratuity $52 straight in his back pocket. I am not a fan of the seemingly compulsory tips in America but I suppose... More

I rarely write negative reviews, but this will be an exception. We made the mistake of stopping in to Frank's for dinner and almost immediately started kicking ourselves. We ordered drinks - beer and a cosmo - which were fine, but our waitress had quite the attitude. We ordered dinner - I had a crawfish dish over angel hair pasta... More

We've been here before a few times and were satisfied. NO MORE Guy out front is great. Ignore him and keep walking. They cannot deliver inside. Owner sits at the corner table and loud talks. Waitress was asked to help level a wobbly table. She came and moved it back and forth, couldn't find a spot and just blew us... More

Was in New Orleans Wednesday night, Frank's was busy on the main floor and they did have an upstairs. I ordered a Muffalatta sandwich and a bloody Mary. never had a bloody Mary with okra and green beans in it before but it tasted good. The Muffalatta was outstanding!!!!

My wife and i stopped in for a quick bite. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice too. We sat out on the balcony and watched all the people walk by.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
