Cafe Maspero is a great place too eat or sit at the bar. Every time we come to New Orleans we make our way to Cafe Maspero. Try the seafood platter or the club sandwich po-boy style. Great bloody Mary's!!

It was close to our hotel and we went once for breakfast. which was good, but nothing special. Friends went there once also and didn't care for their breakfast.

Good was very good and very good priced for being in the French quarter . Our server Leron even suggested a restaurant down the street for an item they didn't serve.

Poboys and Platters. Variety of seafood. Hamburger on poboy and roast beef and muffuletta are my favorites. Service has improved greatly over the past 5 years. Low to mid range prices. Texas fries. Seafood platter is 20$. Try it. Across from old Jax Brewery.

We stopped to dine at Cafe Maspero while walking near the Flea Market. We ate Muffaletta and a white beans and a fried Fish Platter. The food was delicious and the waitresses were friendly and helpful.

Yes this is the restaurant and there are times you may encounter lines to get in. I will add however that their staff is very good at getting people in and out pretty quickly. The best times for me is when it first opens... More
