My husband took me & my daughter here for my birthday trip. The steak was so delicious!! We also had the mozzarella and tomato salad which was excellent. They brought me a yummy chocolate red velvet brownie with a candle!! The service staff is top...notch. Very good place to go for a special occasion for sure!More

Great place. Very much on the high price side. Service was excellent. We ordered soup De jour and Onion soup. Both were fantastic. Our mixed grill entree was prepared to perfection. Our sides of creamed spinach and asparagus were also prepared perfectly. They offered a...comprehensive wine list. My only issue was that this place was exceptionally noisy and they were only allowed up to 50% capacity. We enjoyed our experienceMore

We read great things about this restaurant so we decided to try it while in NOLA. We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, the service was great. The bourbon list was extensive. Our only disappointment was the noise level in the place - we...were there the weekend before Mardi Gras and it was super busy (thankfully we had made reservations) and very loud. It was worth it!More

My husband and I ate at Desi Vega's Valentine's Day 2020--our first time at the restaurant. We loved everything about our experience: atmosphere, service, and food. We enjoyed the complimentary meatball and bread (although two meatballs would have been nicer--they were very small). I had...the mixed grill for my entree (chicken, steak, Italian sausage, broiled tomato), my husband ordered the ribeye, and we split au gratin potatoes. All the meats were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely return to Desi Vega's next time we're in NOLA. Thanks for a memorable dining experience!More

Was on my list for a while to try for Happy Hour. Staff in lobby of hotel not helpful in trying to ascertain if the "Happy Hour" advertised was in the bar on the right when you walk in, or in the small bar that...is part of the restaurant. Had to ask three different people. Info is that "normally" happy hour is in the bar on the right when you walk in, but on this night, it wasn't. Small bar, not too crowded. Two bar tenders who were not busy. One helpful the other on her phone checking texts or whatever didn't seem like she could be bothered. Maker's Mark bourbon on happy hour price but mixers were limited. Only one white and one red wine at happy hour prices. Bar/Snack happy hour menu had variety. Hamburger was good as were the fries. The bartender who was friendly and talkative, did mention that there will be NO happy hour during Mardi Gras Parades/season. Fine with me as I live here and won't be going down in to that area when Parades are rolling.More

I don't think they have a totally private room, but you should call them direct to see if they can accommodate you.

Most restaurants will accommodate. If nothing else there are salads and pasta. My non meat eating daughter was with us, but she does eat fish. She didn't have a problem making a selection. Best advice, Call ahead
