My husband and I both ordered the Windsor Court Plate lunch and were highly disappointed. All 4 tastings we chose tasted pre-made and I didn't even bother eating the Tomato Caprese Salad since it looked like it had been sitting in the fridge for days...More

Dinner was with no doubt the best we had in New Orleans. Service was magnificent! If you are thinking of fine dining this is the right place. Dont expect a noisy place and is perfect to spend a nice evening with your wife!

2nd floor dining room overlooks the courtyard, or inside is a little more formal. Menu is small plate tasting format. We had the mushrooms and cauliflower, scallops, shrimp, crabcakes, and Wagyu filet. Wine list was very extensive. Each course was brought out seperately with enough...More

Located in the Windsor Court Hotel. Our server was there to meet our every need. He was pleasant and funny. The presentation was excellent and the taste was off the charts. And they make a really good dirty martini.

We have been coming to The Grill Room since the mid-1990's. The restaurant has always been good and at times great. We went recently at lunch. Once again, they did not disappoint. The lunch menu is served smaller than dinner and the choices were outstanding....More

The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that we were seated near the door. The area was loud and distracting. The food and service was excellent. I highly recommend the crab cake.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

I would say casual elegant is always appropriate in a tourist town like New Orleans. We have visited several times and my husband always has on a sports jacket but sometimes with jeans and no tie. You will also see suits and... More
