My wife and I have been coming to the Court of Two Sisters for the daily buffet brunch since 1979. Close to 40 years. It has always been our go-to meal in New Orleans; we've recommended it to countless friends. Much to our displeasure, it has changed very much for the worse in the last 12 months since we were... We saw reviews and recommendations and read the menu at the door. And then we just walked in to enjoy a wonderful meal and a very pleasant evening in their courtyard. The turtle soup was an eye opener. Very delicious. I had the veal oscar while my wife ordered the fish of the day. Both were delicious. We finished with... More

We went to the jazz brunch on a Monday morning. A totally delightful experience. The buffet was enormous and excellent. We appreciated the opportunity to sample typical cajun and creole dishes. The courtyard is beautiful and the music was excellent.

We had dinner in the courtyard and it was very good. Our waiter was good and attentive. It isn't the best meal we had while in NOLA, but good. Don't know if I would go back, but it was nice.

Very nice shaded outdoor seating, excellent buffet selection, including local dishes and decadent desserts. Bottle of champagne with or without orange juice really enhanced the experience, and it was not overpriced. Note: you may not want to do this unless you're able to settle down for a comfortable nap afterward.

Lovely patio dining with live Dixieland style jazz and a delicious southern buffet that offers something for everyone! Roast beef carving station, garlic mashed potatoes, grits, shrimp, Crawfish, potato salad, southern style desserts and so much more. Absolutely delicious and well worth a visit.

The staff at the Court of Two Sisters were amazing. We originally had a reservation for 8 and two of our friends decided to also join us. The staff did not blink an eye and was extremely accommodating. They even apologized to us for not being able to seat us outside which was fine with us because the weather was... More

This was a total disappointment. Unfortunately we had our reservations on what turned out to be a rainy day. We were given seats outside. It was breezy, with no heaters, and quite cold. Everything was damp; indeed the seat I sat on ended up soaking my pants. It seems they did nothing to make the experience a little better. Couldn't... More

Once again, the restaurant did not disappoint. Great service, amazing food, and I was able to sit in the beautiful courtyard... I will return again next time I am in New Orleans...

My husband, sister and I came here for dinner and I had read some great reviews. We must have gotten there during a very busy time because it took a long time for our dinner to come out. We eventually had to ask our waiter to just box it up so we could take it with us. I had the... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
